BARB Introduces Lifestage Classifications
The Broadcasters’ Audience Research Board (BARB) is enhancing its audience measurement service by introducing new Lifestage classifications. Available to all BARB subscribers from 21 August, the new data will now include the living patterns of its participants.
BARB subscribers will be able to include the various lifestages of audiences’ viewing of channels, programmes or commercials in their analysis of the data. For example, its will now be possible to define whether or not a “single” panel member is living with their parents, friends or on their own, and whether a couple are living together with parents. It will also give data on the age of the youngest child within a family.
