BARB Launches MediaTel-Designed Website
Television viewing survey organisation, BARB (Broadcasters’ Audience Research Board), has fully launched its own website this morning.
The site, which can be found at http://www.barb.co.uk/, has been designed and is hosted by MediaTel. The open-access site will hold BARB weekly viewing reports, which will be available every Tuesday from today. Annual viewing figures and BARB bulletins are also accessible via the website.
BARB’s director, Bill Meredith, says: “The principal object of launching a website for BARB is to dispense with the cumbersome task of faxing and posting the weekly viewing summary to a dedicated list of journalists and interested bodies.
“MediaTel has done an excellent job of creating a site which is straight-forward to access and easy to navigate. Over the coming year BARB will be looking at ways in which we can improve the site still further and add even more elements which will be of interest to users.”
The BARB website is also part of MediaTel’s Media Village, a net community of media organisations.
