Barclaycard To Sponsor Bond Special
In what ITV is claiming as a network first, Barclaycard has agreed to sponsor In Search of James Bond with Jonathan Ross, the first ever one-off special ITV network programme to attract sponsorship.
The programme will be shown on Sunday 10 December; presented by Bond fan Jonathan Ross it will take a look at the history and appeal of James Bond. The special features interviews with Sean Connery and Desmond Llewelyn, better known as “Q”, as well as reviewing the new film, Goldeneye.
John Laidlaw, Advertising and Media Manager of Barclaycard, said, “This sponsorship deal is totally in line with our advertising strategy and allows us to extend the theme and link created by the Rowan Atkinson character who plays a bungling spy in our current TV campaign.”
The sponsorship deal includes a 15 second opening credit, 10 second closing credit and four break bumpers.
