Bare Gets Pre-Launch Exposure In The Observer

John Brown Publishing has joined up with the Observer to promote the launch of its first women’s title, Bare. A taster copy will be covermounted on this Sunday’s edition of the newspaper, ahead of its launch on 24 August.

It will have an initial print run of 165,000 and expects a launch issue circulation of 80-85,000 to settle at 65-70,000. Targeting ABC1 women between 25 and 40, it will position itself in line with Vogue and Harpers & Queen, according to marketing and PR executive Amanda Hanbury.

Bare promotes wellbeing as a lifestyle with fashion and beauty presented in an informative yet humorous way. It is an upmarket glossy with a light-hearted approach,” she said.

The bi-monthly title expects to become a monthly on its fourth issue and will be priced at £2.80.
