Bauer Advertising appoints interim COO

Bauer Media UK has announced the appointment of Linda Smith as interim chief operating officer of Bauer Advertising.

Smith has held senior positions in the media industry, including UK CEO of Starcom MediaVest, interim CEO/executive chairwoman of RadioCentre/RAB, as well as commercial and marketing positions at Capital Radio and most recently, Centaur Media plc.

Smith starts her role immediately, reporting to group managing director, Richard Dunmall.
