BBC Good Health Suspended

The BBC has announced it is to suspend its monthly health and fitness magazine BBC Good Health with the final issue appearing in July. Redwood, who publish the title, are refusing to comment on the decision other than to say it is a suspension rather than a closure.

BBC Good Health launched into a relatively crowded market in January with a print run of 160,000. Other players in the health and fitness market include Emap’s Here’s Health and HHL’s Health and Fitness. There have also been 2 more launches since BBC Good Health entered the market; Top Sante Health & Beauty and Wellbeing.
