BBC Sells Contract Magazines

BBC Enterprises has sold its contract magazine publishing interests following the review of its activities in the Green paper “Future of the BBC”.

The contract magazine business which includes titles for companies such as Marks and Spencer and American Express has been acquired by Redwood Publishing. Redwood will consist of the contract titles only. All the BBC titles, such as BBC Top Gear, BBC Holidays and BBC Good Health will join BBC Magazines. The majority of staff will transfer with the titles. All titles will continue to operate from the same address.
