BBC Unveils £278 Million Spring And Summer Schedule

The BBC has announced its schedule for the Spring and Summer season. Highlights include a new sci-fi thriller called Invasion: Earth; a biological series entitled The Human Body; a new comedy role for Caroline Quentin in Kiss Me Kate; World Cup sporting action; and new series for Ben Elton and Alexei Sayle.

There will also be new series for The Broker’s Man, The Hello Girls, Dangerfield and Bugs.

BBC One controller Peter Salmon commented: “There’s exciting diversity in BBC One’s drama this season.” He added: “I’m confident that the Eurovision Song Contest will be an irresistible attraction on home turf.”
