BBC Wins Christmas Audience
Del Boy and Rodney won the greatest TV audience on Christmas Day with 20.13m viewers tuning into Only Fools and Horses, according to BARB figures released today.
Also on BBC , Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade was the most watched film attracting 15.80m and Birds of a Feather had an audience of 16.88m. Eastenders and Coronation Street battled it out for best soap viewing, but Eastenders claimed an audience of 15.12m, with 13.95m watching The Street. Overall, BBC gained 49.5% of the festive audience compared with ITV’s 45.6%.
