Cable operator Bell Cablemedia has announced that it will continue to carry NBC to its franchise areas. As reported on *GSkyB Launch Will Go Ahead As Planned, NBC were considering suing Bell and Videotron, another cable operator, for axing NBC from their packages due to poor viewing figures.
While NBC and Videotron go to court over the matter at the end of the month *Videotron And NBC Face Court Hearing, an agreement with Bell has been reached and it will continue to broadcast NBC until next Spring. The contract will be reviewed next year after the expiry of the initial contract term.
