VaynerMedia’s Ben Allison has relocated from the agency’s New York office to take up a new position as vice president of global media in London.
Allison will also retain his role as vice president of paid media in the US, but will now provide additional media resources for VaynerMedia in EMEA and APAC as the agency continues to grow its presence in the regions.
He joined the agency four years ago as manager of paid media, and has since worked with clients including Mondelez International, J.P. Morgan Chase, Anheuser-Busch InBev and PepsiCo. Prior to joining VaynerMedia, Allison was senior advertising manager at SocialCode.
“It has been a fantastic experience working at VaynerMedia in New York and I could not pass up the opportunity to join the expanding team in the UK,” he said.
“The agency is continually evolving, listening to where consumer attention is headed, and crafting ways to disrupt the sector. I am really looking forward to working within a new market for VaynerMedia, to provide transparency, performance and partnership to our regional and global clients.”
Allison’s appointment follows a series of London appointments, including the agency’s new managing director, Sarah Baumann, who joined in June.
Commenting on the news, Baumann said: “VaynerMedia London is growing fast and we are bringing in people brimming with experience, enthusiasm and new ideas.”
“Ben is an expert in his field and will be opening up new global business opportunities for us. Since joining the team myself earlier this year, I am incredibly excited about the direction we’re heading in and the unique way we provide transparency and growth. Ben has an intuitive understanding of how to bring Attention, Culture and Empathy to life, working to deliver outstanding business results for our clients.”
