Billetts Launch New Service For Advertisers

The Billett Consultancy has launched a tracking service for advertisers which claims to provide greater accuracy in measuring marketing effectiveness. The service, which is called Billetts Sales, Media Tracking (BSMT), is designed to enable advertisers to understand, track and exploit the relationship between business performance, advertising and ‘the rest of the marketing mix’.

Billetts claims that the BSMT service has already proven itself by helping some of the world’s biggest blue chip advertisers to track and evaluate the effectiveness of their advertising expenditure, as well as to plan future campaigns.

The analysis is built around a ‘suite of statistical models’ which is designed to isolate the impact of advertising on sales. Billets believes that, whilst it can be measured, advertising awareness is not sufficient as a measure of advertising effectiveness. BSMT aims to provide information above and beyond just advertising awareness.
