John Brown Publishing’s Bizarre magazine will be going monthly after April. The move is prompted by the title’s July-December ABC figure, released on Friday, which showed sales of 71,782.
As a result of the move Bizarre has taken on three more journalists and doubled the size of its sales team. Associate publisher Lynda Wheeler said: “Sales are continuing to rise with every issue, and with £150,000 invested in promoting the monthly move, I’m confident we can establish Bizarre as a real force in a diversifying market.”
