Blind Date In Sponsorship Deal

Blind Date In Sponsorship Deal

LWT’s prime time Saturday evening show Blind Date has signed a sponsorship deal with travel company Going Places which is believed to be worth around £2m.

Going Places is said to be keen to exploit the synergy between its business and the holiday element of Blind Date. The show, which regularly pulls in around 10 million viewers, was one of the few ITV “big-hitters” without a sponsor. Other ITV partnerships include Kavanagh QC and the Daily Telegraph, Gladiators and Fruit Burst and the Movie Premiere and Doritos.

The sponsorship will go out during the Christmas and New Year break on December 28 and is set to run for eighteen months.
