Brand Manager Joins GWR

Colin Dudgeon, the brand manager of Sugar Puffs at Quaker Oats, will be joining the GWR Group as listener marketing manager on May 11. He will be involved in marketing the programme potential of GWR’s portfolio of UK stations to consumers, working initially with programme chiefs on the group’s local FM radio stations.

The appointment of Dudgeon completes the restructuring of GWR’s sales and marketing divisions following the formation of Opus (see Opus Gets Ready For Launch).

…Mike Wood, former editor of the Hull Daily Mail, is to become the managing director of Grimsby & Scunthorpe Newspapers on August 3. He succeeds Trevor Knowles who is retiring.
