Bright Station has won a three year contract worth £1m from Virgin.com to host and manage content on its brand portal. The portal, which acts as a gateway to all Virgin’s businesses online, will be managed by Bright Station along with Intel Online Services. The contract includes technology enhancements based on Bright Station technologies such as Knowledge Management infrastructure from Smartlogik.
The contract follows a recent strategic business and marketing alliance formed between Intel Corporation and Bright Station. The Virgin.com relationship will be managed through Bright Station Symphony Ltd, which was formed on 10 January this year to co-ordinate activities resulting from the alliance.
