Bruno Brookes Goes North

Former Radio 1 DJ Bruno Brookes has joined Leeds-based radio station The New 96.3 Aire FM as part of the station’s relaunch.

Brookes, who left the BBC in February last year, is presenting the new weekday mid-morning show between 10am and 1pm. Other changes include Vicky Locklin joining as the new breakfast co-host and a station-wide commitment to play “only the best music.”

The New 96.3 Aire FM is run by West Yorkshire Broadcasting – a wholly owned subsidiary of EMAP Radio.
