BSkyB Chief Executive To Quit
Sam Chisholm, BSkyB’s chief executive, has said that he will be leaving his post at the end of the year due to medical advice.
He will be replaced by Mark Booth, JSkyB’s chief operating officer on January 1 1998. Chisholm, who is an asthma sufferer, was advised by doctors not to take on the next stage of BSkyB’s projects, which include the launch of digital terrestrial and digital satellite services. He will remain as a director of the broadcasting company.
