BSkyB is already planning several new satellite channels just a month after the launch of seven channels including Disney, Paramount and Playboy.
Director of programmes at BSkyB, David Elstein, gave details of the new channels at the 1995 Forman Lecture in Manchester last night. He said that an arts channel, an education channel, a computer channel and a games channel were among those planned.
