According to sources, BSkyB is considering approaching BARB to work out how viewing share will be calculated when its digital television service is launched next year. It is understood that BSkyB are questioning whether BARB’s satellite panel is large enough to measure the amount of channels BSkyB are planning to offer.
A spokesperson from BARB said that no approaches have been received as yet.
