BT Interactive Trials To Include Advertising
British Telecom has announced that its Interactive TV trials due to begin this summer will include Adland, am interactive advertising service. More than 20 advertisers have already committed to participating in Adland.
The trial will be available to 2,500 customers in Colchester and Ipswich at a monthly charge of £4.99 for the basic service. The Local Life, Adland and window shopping services will be free, while an extra charge will be made for the films, music, education and children’s services.
All the customers involved in the trial will be recruited by market research to achieve a representative demographic sample of the UK population.
