Premier League

BT Sport has today announced the Barclays Premier League matches that it will be showing in the first third of the season, including Tottenham v Chelsea, and Everton v Liverpool. Today’s news confirms the fixtures that are a part of BT Sport’s free football offer for its broadband subscribers.

BT Sport has chosen two games involving Man United – Tottenham Hotspur v Man United at White Hart Lane, and the Premier League champion’s home fixture against Crystal Palace.

Matches between Newcastle and Liverpool at St James’ Park, Man City and Everton, and Arsenal and Fulham will also be shown.

“We are thrilled that BT Sport viewers will be able to enjoy these top-of-the-table matches free with BT broadband,” said Simon Gree, director of BT Sport.

“This is the first time in Premier League history that top pick matches have been shown anywhere other than on Sky, but Sky TV customers can easily add BT Sport by calling us and if they have BT broadband they can get it for free.”

BT Sport’s first game of the season will be Liverpool v Stoke City at Anfield at 12.45pm on August 17, with former Liverpool and Stoke striker Michael Owen co-commentator for BT Sport.
