BT Vision Launches HD Films In New Deal With NBC

BT Vision has signed a deal with NBC Universal International Television Distribution for a selection of films to feature on its HD on-demand movie service in the UK.

A range of HD films from NBC will be released on BT Vision today, including blockbusters such as Charlie Wilson’s War, The Incredible Hulk and ET.

Dan Marks, CEO of BT Vision, said: “The inclusion of HD films now makes BT Vision an ever more compelling service, immediately delivering the benefits of high definition content but without the high cost of additional monthly subscription fees or an expensive new set top box.”

BT Vision customers with HD ready screens will be able to receive the service from today through theit existing V-box.

The service requires customers to pay a one-off fee for the films, which they will be able to keep and watch as much as they like over a 48-hour rental period.
