BUSADS 1993 Research Released
The 1993 Bus Audience Data System is now available. It is a database of travel patterns and bus routes in London; it calculates audience coverage and frequency for ad campaigns on London buses. It was launched in 1991 but has been updated.
Three databases were assembled to provide the audience model:
This contains details of all routes throughout the London bus network.
This established the weekly travel patterns of each respondent, with their demographic characteristics.
The Car Video Survey calculated exposure to bus ads in London by car drivers and passengers. An average encounter rate per minute was calculated for each site separately.
