Buzz FM Off Air/New Sales House

Buzz FM, the Birmingham dance radio station, went off air last Friday. Buzz owner Chris Carey is currently in the process of selling Buzz.

According to The Radio Authority, as soon as the deal is signed the station will go back on air. This is expected to be next week. Businessman Muff Murfin is believed to be the buyer.

NEW RADIO SALES HOUSE

Dick Seabright, former sales director of Spectrum International, has set up a sales house called First Choice. It plans to represent small radio stations and has already picked up Minster FM in York. According to First Choice, they also have other stations lined up, but could not reveal any details as yet. Minster FM expect their sales to go through First Choice in three months time.
