Channel 4 has made its catch-up viewing figures for 4oD available for the first time, launching a 4oD Monthly Report for July 2011.
Across all platforms, VoD views in 2011 were up to 242 million – an increase of 20.9% year on year. In July, 4oD had 29 million views across all platforms, including channel4.com, YouTube, SeeSaw, iOS, PlayStation, BT Vision, Virgin Media and Talk Talk.
In terms of 4oD on channel4.com, the service attracted 3.4 million unique viewers per month (on average); 24.0 average minutes per view and 1.8 average hours per month per unique users, according to the report.
Top series for July included Hollyoaks, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Sirens and Come Dine with Me. The top genre was Entertainment.
The BBC also releases monthly viewing figures for iPlayer. In July, the BBC’s catch-up service had 153 million requests for programmes.
