Channel 4 has announced that the first sports programmes to carry Volkswagen sponsorship (subscribers see Volkswagen To Sponsor C4 Sport) will be NBA Basketball and Football Italia from April onwards. The sponsorship will roll out across other strands as the calendar is confirmed.
The partnership is also planned to extend to joint ventures with websites, off screen promotions and hospitality around key sporting events planned.
