C4 Launches Winter Schedule

C4 will be entering Winter 1998 with a major new drama series called Mosley, another special five-nighter for Brookside, the return of Father Ted and the fourth series of E.R..

Mosley is a four-part drama based around the life of Britain’s 1930s fascist leader and will star Jonathan Cake, Jemma Redgrave and Windsor Davies. Two new sitcoms are In Exile and Slap!. The first centres around an African exile in London and the second is a “comedy soap” based around the make-up counter of a Manchester department store and the bank next door.

In comedy, the fifth series of Frasier gets shown, as does the re-run of the current third series of Friends. New series of Fortean TV, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s TV Dinners and Nick Fisher’s Screaming Reels also feature.
