Cable Set For Record Growth In 1994
According to figures published by the Cable Television Association, cable operators will spend a record £1.2bn this year in development. The CTA has surveyed its members build and investment plans for 1994 and results show that the operators plan to build past a further 1.6m homes in Britain and over 2m further homes in 1995, taking it to a total of 6.6m homes across Britain with access to cable.
Richard Woollam, director general of the CTA, said, “We are now building the information super-highways that other countries are only still talking about”
