Videotron, the Canadian owned cable television company has offered free off-peak calls to residential customers.
The offer will be limited to calls among Videotron customers in the inner London and Hampshire franchise areas. At present the company has only 32,000 residential subscribers but expects the free call offer will encourage a rapid switch from BT.
