Camelot Gets TV Dream
The BBC is to host a new game-show, TV Dreams, based on National Lottery scratchcards. The licence for the programme was awarded to Camelot by Peter Davis, Oflot director-general.
It is likely that the show will bear resemblance to similar shows in Ireland, Denmark and France.
Plans for the show’s contestants winning the chance to appear on TV Dreams by playing National Lottery Instants have yet to be finalised. The prize money predicted to be up for grabs on the show will reflect the Instant scratchcard prize range (approximately £2 – £100,000). Camelot hopes the programme will significantly increase Instant sales and hopes to launch TV Dreams for a 16 week run in the new year.
