Capital Claims Victory In Breakfast Listening Battle

Chris Tarrant has beaten all the competition in the breakfast listening wars, according to Q4 RAJAR figures released by Capital Radio.

Capital 95.8 FM ‘s breakfast show was listened to by almost 2 million listeners, an increase of 300,000. This means that, in London, the slot is listened to by 1.3 million more people than either Chris Evans on Virgin and Zoe Ball on Radio 1.

Overall, the station gained 300,000 listeners and its share has increased from 15.7% to 16.4%.
