Capital Radio plc has announced that David Mansfield will succeed Richard Eyre as chief executive. Eyre leaves on 30 September to become chief executive of ITV.
Mansfield was formerly group director at Capital with overall responsibility for the group’s operations. Prior to this he was group commercial director.
Ian Irvine, chairman of Capital Radio said: “David has worked alongside Richard leading a strong executive team. He has been clearly involved in the development of strategy and the operations of the business for four years.”
