Capital Signs Syndication Deals For New Online Radio Stations

Capital Interactive has announced a syndication deal which will see youth email site another.com, women’s magazine site BeMe.com and black music site darkerthanblue.com become partner websites for its first three narrowcast stations.

Each of the station and partner deals have been tailored to create a blend of radio, retail and editorial elements. For another.com ATK13 will offer up-tempo and hard-edged music, while Chyra will play comtemporary music and all time classic pop aimed at BeMe.com visitors. Darkerthanblue.com is partnered with Glisn, an urban R&B and soul station.

Peter Harris, Capital Interactive’s finance director said that the stations, which have been created for distribution across different platforms, “will add value to partner sites, while generating revenue for Capital Interactive from advertising and online retailing.”

All three stations are already on Capital’s music website Kikido and will go live on their partner websites on 9 April.
