Carlton Launches Ad Scratchcard Game

Carlton Launches Ad Scratchcard Game

Carlton UK is to launch its own scratchcard game in the Carlton and Central TV areas, based around two daytime programmes, Vanessa, and Shortland Street, a New Zealand soap. Vanessa broadcasts three times each week in both areas; Shortland Street runs 5 days a week in Central and 3 days in the Carlton area.

The game will be based around the central break of each programme; viewers have to match the brand names of each ad with their scratchcards; if the brand appears they win either a cash prize or the right to enter a prize draw to win a year’s worth of shopping in Safeway.

Scratchcards are being distributed in listings magazines in the Carlton and Central areas; TV Quick, Whats on TV and TV Times. Each has this week carried a teaser ad for the promotion. The promotion runs from 11th to 29th September.
