Carlton Communications this morning reported interim financial results which show an increase of 11% in pre-tax profits to £158.6 million. This is on the back of turnover which rose nearly £50 million to £896 million. Carlton said that the main reason for the increases was a good sales performance for the period.
The broadcaster also expects the ITC to announce the winner of the digital terrestrial broadcasting licences by June 30.
