Cartoon Network To Bring Bus Shelters To Life

Cartoon Network To Bring Bus Shelters To Life

The latest advertising for Cartoon Network’s new series includes posters that talk to people waiting for buses. Posters advertising Angela Anaconda in bus shelters around the country have hidden movement sensors in them. Whenever someone joins the queue for a bus, these trigger one of five soundbites or a song from the series.

The speaking posters are in around 35 locations across the UK, with 26 in locations outside London, including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Leeds and Southampton.

The programme itself will air for the first time on 17 April and is a 52 part series. “It is very innovative and unusual show.” commented James Grenville, Head of Cartoon Network UK. “We wanted to create a novel promotion that people would remember.”
