Carweek – To Reduce Size
Emap’s Carweek has announced that it is to reduce its size and revamp its second section two weeks after sales figures were revealed as disappointing. Average circulation for August to October was 80,229, nearly 20,000 short of the 100,000 sales target. (Newsline 30/12)
Carweek will reduce its tabloid format so that it will fit on newsagent’s shelves; the title will switch to full colour and abandon its regional editions. The second section will become incorporated into the main magazine instead of as a separate section, with more buying tips.
