Casualty Vs Raise The Roof Overnight

Overnight figures for Saturday night’s episode of Casualty, have put its audience at twice as many as ITV’s new quiz show Raise The Roof. Casualty managed to attract a TVR of 27 for a peak quarter hour, an average TVR of 25 and 56% share of audience. This is compared to a TVR of 12 for peak quarter hour and average TVR of 12 for Raise The Roof, which is a 29% share of audience.

The first edition of Raise The Roof performed disappointingly, only managing to attract 7.7 million viewers compared to the 11 million who watched BBC1’s Rich Deceiver. ITV had been hoping for a bigger audience to help combat the National Lottery, against which ITV usually performs badly.
