Michael Connolly, chief executive of Trans World Communications, the radio company currently being takenover by Emap, has resigned.

Stan Myerson was unavailable for comment this morning following trade press rumours that he is about to leave Express Newspapers. Myerson, the former deputy advertisement director was recently appointed assistant to the managing director, following the sudden departure of Mike Moore, ad sales director last month.

IPC is claiming that Loaded, its “lads” style magazine which launched earlier this year has achieved average sales for its first three issues of 69,363. Arena and Esquire have circulations of 80,406 and 96,405 (J-Jun 94) respectively.
