CATV IV Survey Released
Findings from the fourth CATV survey have been released by Helen Harrison & Co. They show that cable households have more people (2.92) compared to all TV households (2.39), are more likely to have children (44% compared to 28%) and are younger (86% under 55 years old compared to 74%).
Other findings show that cable households reflect the national ABC1 profile with 45%, though cable households are only 31% DE compared to 34% nationally.
Cable households also have high penetration levels of new technology: 29% have a PC and 31% a games console.
