Centaur Closes New Media Creative

Centaur Communications is to close New Media Creative as a stand-alone title in order to merge its content into New Media Age.
Nigel Roby, New Media Age group publishing director said: “It is sad to have to lose New Media Creative as a stand-alone title. But if we can serve the creative community and those promoting to it better via three market leading titles [Creative Review, Design Week and New Media Age] then that is what we should do.”

New Media Creative content, namely its “Creative Sourcebook”, will live on in a new section being launched in NMA, comprising a directory and a showcase of web design from major agencies. There will also be design and usability features looking at how agencies and in-house teams solve client briefs.
The NMA group will be taking a fresh expansion route early next year with a new conference and event at which the best of interactive design will be discussed.
