Centaur May Abandon Flotation Plans In Favour Of Private Sale
Centaur Communications, publishers of Marketing Week, the Lawyer and Money Marketing magazines is thought to be seeking a private sale instead of the planned flotation it announced in November last year.
It is thought that the downturn in the global advertising market could be behind the turnaround, although no comment or confirmation was available from the company today.
Speculation has already arisen about possible suitors, which are thought to include Emap, which may purchase the business magazines division.
