Channel 4 Launches Trade Website For Advertisers
Channel 4 has launched a new online resource for advertisers and agencies, the most extensive to have been designed by a media owner for the trade. Called IN4MER, (www.in4mer.com) it will give easy, instant access to channel information to allow informed business decisions to be made via the net.
Split into seven sections, the site provides information on all aspects of the channel. News within the company is covered as well as programming details, research and commercial development. Audience data can be obtained, with the top programmes listed by TVR and conversion, by monthly comparisons and by viewing share. A Play section features a weekly ‘predict the ratings’ competition as well as downloadable stills and video clips.
Head of commercial development Sue Oriel said: “We set out to provide a website which is efficient and user-friendly, providing our important business associates with a vital source of information on Channel 4 as well as broader market information.”
