Channel 4 Revamps Daytime Schedule

Channel 4 is overhauling its teatime slot as part of a revamp of its daytime schedule. The changes will not affect long established programme such as Countdown, Fifteen-To-One and The Ricki Lake Show. New programmes commissioned for the slot include: Collectors’ Lots, a four times a week antiques programme hosted by Sue Cook; Travelling Light, an interactive travel show and Pet Rescue, a daily veterinary programme presented by Anthea Turner’s sister Wendy and vet Mark Evans.

The new-look teatime schedule will start in the New Year, with further changes to Channel 4’s lunchtime schedule expected later in 1997.
