Channel 4 Spring Schedule

Today Channel 4 unveiled its spring schedule which contains a varied assortment of programmes, the highlight of which is another special 5-night week of Brookside this time covering the trial of Mandy and Beth Jordache. There is also a brand new series of the popular eighties drama Aufweidersen Pet, with some new characters. The series this time is set in Spain.

Films on Channel 4 this spring include network premieres of Bonfire of the Vanities, Don’t tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead and the satirical Bob Roberts starring Tim Robins. Other programmes returning include; Without Walls which has an obituary for Dudley Moore; Encounters and True Stories.

New comedy programmes include the World of Lee Evans, following on from his successful pilot last year. There are four half-hour shows, and a new comedy series from the writers of The All New Alexei Sayle Show, called Father Ted Crilly, about a priest who dreams about a parish in Las Vegas.
