Channel 5 Retuning Behind Schedule

Channel 5 Retuning Behind Schedule

A survey conducted by Continental Research has reported that only 42% of London homes have so far been retuned. Channel 5’s £150 million retuning programme was also found to be way behind schedule in other cities. This survey was commissioned by ITV and is updated every 3 weeks. ITV estimate that only 6.5 million homes have been retuned so far.

The company will only be cleared for a national launch if they can guarantee that 90% of homes in any one area have been retuned.

A spokesman for Channel 5 told Newsline that this was just the sort of report that they would expect from ITV. According to the channel, the retuning programme is right on schedule and over 7.7 million homes have been retuned so far.
