Leeds-based media and advertising agency, Charles Walls Group (CWG), has announced that 10 Group has backed a management buy-out of the business. 10 Group also owns Brunning in Manchester and SWK in London.
The CWG management team involved in the buy-out includes MD Dave McIntosh, sales director Dave Sewards and planning director Owen Williams. 10 Group will not have a presence on the CWG board.
Commenting on the changes at the 50 year old Yorkshire agency, McIntosh said: “This is probably the most exciting change to have happened in the Northern agency scene in the past decade. Everything is now in place to confirm our position as one of the North’s leading agencies with the emphasis on creativity, planning and the strongest possible link to delivering bottom-line results for clients.”
Media buying at Charles Walls has been moved out to MediaVest Manchester.
