David Gordon has resigned as chief executive of Independent Television News. Gordon, who joined in 1993 as a “change manager” said “having turned it around I came to the conclusion that I would like another challenge.” He will stay on until a successor is found. Favourite to succeed is Stewart Purvis, editor-in-chief.
