Chisholm Steps Down From BSkyB Board
Former BSkyB chief executive, Sam Chisholm, has resigned his post as non-executive director of the satellite broadcaster. His departure follows hot on the heels of BSkyB’s current chief executive, Mark Booth, who is leaving the company within the next few weeks to start an internet and interactive venture called e-partners (see Mark Booth Leaves BSkyB For New Media Company).
Chisholm will be replaced by Letizia Moratti, chairman of News Corporation Europe. Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation holds a 40% stake in BSkyB.
